The Municipal Committee Nowshera Virkan, District Gujranwala, invites tenders through the single-stage, one-envelope bidding procedure for annual framework contracts for financial year 2026–27. Contractors must be registered with the Punjab e-Procurement System and the Pakistan Engineering Council in the relevant category and code. Tender and bidding documents will be uploaded on the Punjab e-Procurement System dashboard. The submission deadline is 23 November 2026 at 10:00 AM. Bids will be opened on the same day at 11:30 AM in the office of the Municipal Committee Nowshera Virkan, in the presence of contractors or their representatives.
Participating contractors and firms must submit or upload bid security online through the Punjab e-Procurement System using its prescribed electronic mechanism. Bid security is 5% of the estimated cost. Proof of generated or submitted bid security must be presented to and verified by the Tender Opening Committee at bid opening; failure to comply will result in disqualification.
Conditional tenders will not be entertained. Selection will be based on least cost. Submission of forged documents or a forged CDR will result in legal action under applicable laws and rules.
Successful bidders quoting more than 4.99% below the technically sanctioned estimated cost must deposit additional performance security under the PPRA Works Rules 2017 within the stipulated period after acceptance of their tenders or bids. Failure to deposit this security will result in forfeiture of the deposited money without further notice. Contractors must perform the works in accordance with PPRA rules.
