FPSC Secretariat Jobs 2026 for Balochistan Quota – Assistant, Stenotypist and Data Entry Operator

The Federal Public Service Commission (FPSC) invites applications from Pakistani citizens domiciled in Balochistan for three vacancies in its Secretariat.

Application procedure: Apply through the National Job Portal at www.njp.gov.pk within fifteen days of the advertisement date. Applications submitted by hand will not be entertained.

Recruitment rules: Recruitment will follow the criteria and mechanism defined by the Establishment Division through O.M. No. 2/5/2026-BEFC/001, dated 22 October 2026 and 27 October 2026.

Medical fitness and documents: Selected candidates must submit a medical certificate under Rule 17 of the Civil Servants (Appointment, Promotion and Transfer) Rules, 1973. If a candidate is declared medically unfit, the alternate candidate will be offered the post. At the interview, candidates must produce original documents together with attested copies of certificates and degrees from HEC-recognized boards, universities or institutes, and other relevant documents.

Age relaxation: Candidates domiciled in Balochistan are entitled to upper-age relaxation plus five years of general age relaxation. Other claims for relaxation will be considered where admissible under Establishment Division SRO No. 1079(I)/93, dated 4 November 1993, and O.M. No. 9/2/91-R-5, dated 24 June 2010, as amended from time to time.

Relaxation for trainable skills: For the Stenotypist and Data Entry Operator posts, a one-time relaxation applies to the requirement to possess prescribed trainable skills, including shorthand, typing or computer literacy, at initial appointment. Where candidates lack certification at selection, selected candidates must acquire the prescribed proficiency through departmental on-the-job training during probation. Proficiency will be assessed before confirmation, and failure to acquire it will be dealt with under the applicable probation and service rules.

Government employees: Candidates already in government service must apply through the proper channel and provide a No Objection Certificate. Otherwise, their applications will not be entertained, and they will have no right to claim.

The number of vacancies may be increased or decreased. No TA/DA will be admissible for appearing in the test or interview.
