Pakistan Air Force Medical Branch Commissioned Officer Jobs 2026 – 138 Combat Support Course

The Pakistan Air Force invites male and female citizens of Pakistan to join as commissioned officers in the Medical Branch through the 138 Combat Support Course. Online registration is open from 9 November 2026 to 23 November 2026 at www.joinpaf.gov.pk. Candidates must possess a NADRA Smart CNIC and a Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PMDC) certificate.

Medical Branch Specialists — SPSC

Specialists will join in the rank of Squadron Leader. The age requirement is 25–35 years on 15 April 2027, and the training period is 24 weeks at the Pakistan Air Force Academy. Candidates must hold specialization in the relevant discipline from a Pakistani or foreign medical college or university recognized by PMDC.

Age relaxation up to 45 years may be granted subject to approval by the competent authority. Candidates must possess a valid PMDC certificate.

Medical Branch GDDOs — SPSSC

Male and female citizens of Pakistan may apply for General Duty Dental Officer positions in the rank of Flight Lieutenant. Applicants must be 25–33 years old on 15 April 2027. Training will last 24 weeks.

Applicants must hold a BDS or equivalent qualification from a Pakistani or foreign medical college or university recognized by PMDC, with one year of house job. Preference will be given to candidates with experience beyond the house job. A minimum of 60% marks or a GPA of 2.5 out of 4 is required.

Selection Procedure

1. Online registration at www.joinpaf.gov.pk.
2. Intelligence test followed by an academic test in relevant subjects at the respective Information and Selection Centre.
3. Initial medical examination, physical test, and interview at a PAF Information and Selection Centre.
4. Psychological test for shortlisted candidates only.
5. Interview by the AHQ Selection Board at Rawalpindi, Lahore, or Karachi.
6. Final medical examination at CMB, Lahore.
7. Interview by the Final AHQ Selection Board, Islamabad.
8. Final selection by AHQ in order of merit.

Ineligibility Conditions

The following candidates are ineligible:

• Candidates rejected by ISSB, GHQ, NHQ, or AHQ selection boards under these conditions: twice rejected by ISSB for postgraduate entry; twice rejected by ISSB for intermediate or graduate entry, including PMA, Graduate, or equivalent, and once rejected by ISSB or GHQ, NHQ, or AHQ-based selection boards; once rejected by ISSB for intermediate or graduate entry, including PMA, Graduate, or equivalent, and twice rejected by ISSB or GHQ, NHQ, or AHQ-based selection boards; or twice screened out by ISSB.
• Candidates tested within four months, or 120 days, of their previous ISSB appearance, unless a waiver is granted by the competent authority. This 120-day restriction does not apply to candidates appearing before GHQ, NHQ, or AHQ selection boards.
• Candidates dismissed, removed, or debarred from government service, including the Armed Forces.
• Candidates convicted by a court of law for any heinous offence, as determined by the competent military authority.
• Candidates permanently declared unfit by an Appeal Medical Board (PUF by AMB).
• Candidates declared medically unfit due to Hepatitis B or C; they cannot request an Appeal Medical Board.
• Candidates withdrawn from any bonded Armed Forces college or institution on disciplinary grounds.
• Candidates withdrawn, discharged, resigned, or released through purchase from any Armed Forces Officers’ Academy or training institution on any ground.
• Candidates involved in tampering with academic certificates, forgery, or concealment to obtain an undue advantage; such candidates become permanently ineligible for all types of commission in the Armed Forces.
• Candidates screened out three times by the Army, Navy, or Air Force during preliminary selection.
