National Grid Company of Pakistan Limited (NGCP) has submitted an Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) for the proposed construction of a 500 kV Chakwal Grid Station on Jhelum–Chakwal Road. The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), Punjab has admitted the application and invited stakeholders and the general public to submit comments and attend a public hearing as part of the Environmental Approval process under Section 12 of the Punjab Environmental Protection Act, 2012.
