UHS Public Notice: Migration Opportunity for BSN Generic (4-Year) Students in Punjab Nursing Colleges

Issuer: University of Health Sciences (UHS), Lahore. Purpose: Open online applications for internal migration of BSN Generic (4-year degree program) students studying in public sector nursing colleges of Punjab into the 2nd and 3rd years (or corresponding semesters) under the Migration Policy notified by the Government of Punjab on 13 May 2026.

Eligibility (by migration year/semester)

Key Conditions
- Only candidates fulfilling the above qualifications are eligible.
- Candidates who have failed and are awaiting supplementary examination results shall not be eligible.
- Migration is allowed strictly on the basis of merit cum preference.
- Migration is not permitted in the First Year (1st and 2nd Semesters) and the Final Year of the program.
- Migration between Morning and Evening sessions, and between Annual and Semester schemes, shall not be permissible except where specifically allowed by the policy.
- Migration shall be allowed only once during the entire 4-year program.
- Mutual migration between students shall not be permissible.

Application Procedure
- Applications must be submitted exclusively through the UHS Migration Portal via the UHS website (www.uhs.edu.pk). Manual or hard copy submissions shall not be entertained.
- Applicants must complete the prescribed online form and indicate their order of preference for institutions where vacancies exist in the relevant year/semester.
- Each applicant must generate and deposit a non-refundable processing fee of Rs. 500/- through the designated challan at any branch of the Bank of Punjab or via online banking and upload proof of payment with the online application.
- Required documents to upload: Matriculation Certificate/Result Card or equivalent, F.Sc. Certificate/Result Card or equivalent, detailed mark certificates (DMCs) of all professional examinations passed, College Identity Card (both sides), and a certificate from the College Principal affirming clearance of dues, satisfactory attendance, and absence of pending disciplinary proceedings.

Important Notes
- Number of vacancies in public sector nursing colleges will be available on the UHS website.
- Merit shall be determined on marks obtained in F.Sc. (Pre-Medical) as per the Migration Policy; improvement marks shall not be considered for migration.
- Candidates selected for migration will be required to join the concerned college within seven (07) days from the date of issuance of the selection letter; failure to join within the stipulated period may result in cancellation of migration and the seat will be offered to the next eligible candidate.
- Final orders of migration will be issued by the Specialized Healthcare & Medical Education Department, Government of the Punjab.
