By order of the Registrar, Sindh High Court at Karachi, JS Bank Limited has filed a suit under Section 9 of the Financial Institutions (Recovery of Finances) Ordinance, 2001 seeking recovery of PKR 199,336,283.32 against Messrs Shams Builders & Developers and other respondents (including heirs of Arbab Muhammad Din Memon). The claim relates to recovery of principal, markup, charges and costs.
Defendants are directed to appear in person or by counsel and file their answers or written statement and produce relevant documents before the court on 28 August 2026 at 09:30. The notice was issued by the Court Registrar on 27 July 2026. Failure to appear may result in the suit being decided in the defendants' absence.
