National University of Medical Sciences (NUMS), Islamabad invites applications for admission to the 12th batch of the Certificate in Health Professions Education (CHPE) for Fall 2026. The program aims to develop instructional strategies and core competencies in health professions education through blended learning and practical tasks.
Program details & eligibility
Duration: 06 months • Credits: 12 • Number of courses: 04 (each 5–6 weeks)
Eligibility: 16 years of education in a relevant discipline — MBBS/BDS or equivalent, BS Nursing, BS Allied Health Sciences (AHS). Valid registration with the relevant regulatory body where applicable is required.
Mode & assessment
Blended delivery: an initial 5-day face-to-face session, followed by distance learning through NUMS Learning Management System (LMS). Online face-to-face session will be conducted for international applicants as applicable. Assessment comprises continuous assessment, end-of-course summative assessments and a certification exam. All contact sessions follow Pakistan Standard Time (PST).
