Issuer: Lahore Development Authority (LDA), Government of Punjab. Purpose: Public safety notice for building and construction sites during the approaching monsoon season. All owners, builders, consultants, architects, structural and resident engineers must ensure adequate shoring, structural stability measures and safety precautions at all construction sites including basement construction, in accordance with LDA Building & Zoning Regulations.
Key directive: Excavation is prohibited up to 15th August. Any damage, loss or accident caused by inadequate safety measures, improper shoring arrangements or negligence will be the sole responsibility of the owner, builder, consultant and supervising engineers.
