FPSC MCQs-Based Preliminary Test (MPT) — CSS Competitive Examination 2027 — Apply by 2026-08-20

Federal Public Service Commission (FPSC) invites online applications for the MCQs-Based Preliminary Test (MPT) for the CSS Competitive Examination 2027. The MPT will be held on 27th September 2026 (Sunday) and will be conducted in 19 cities. Applications must be submitted online before 20th August 2026.

Eligibility

Candidates must hold at least a Bachelor’s Degree (Second Division). Age must be between 21–30 years on the cut-off date; a two-year relaxation is admissible as per Rule 6. Candidates must meet all other eligibility requirements specified in CSS CE-2027 rules. Under FPSC Rules 11(20) and 11(21) candidates are provisionally admitted and candidature may be cancelled if found ineligible at any stage. Candidates are responsible for full and complete compliance with eligibility requirements before applying.

How to apply & important instructions

1. Complete the online application form carefully and check it before final submission.
2. Apply through the MCQ-Based Preliminary Test (MPT)-2027 page on the FPSC website and generate a 6-digit PSID for fee payment.
3. Pay the fee via approved online channels well before the closing date; non-accepted payment methods include old FPSC Challan (TR-6), cheques, bank drafts and pay orders.
4. The selected Examination Centre cannot be changed. Ensure CNIC and date of birth are entered correctly; incorrect entries may lead to rejection.
5. Admission certificates will be uploaded and no separate intimation will be sent by FPSC. FPSC has zero tolerance for cheating or unfair means.

Governing rules
