SZABMU School of Dentistry Islamabad — Admissions for 4-Year MDS / FCPS Residency (Jan 2026)

Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto Medical University (SZABMU), School of Dentistry (SOD), Islamabad invites applications for January 2026 residency/training programs in the Faculty of Dentistry. Admissions are available for Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery (OMFS) under a 4-year residency leading to terminal MDS qualification and a 4-year FCPS training programme. Total advertised seats: 2.

Eligibility

Candidates must meet the following minimum requirements:

• Possess BDS or equivalent degree registered by PM&DC (PMDC/PM&DC).
• One year house job from a PM&DC recognized institution.
• Permanent valid registration with PM&DC.
• Valid FCPS/MDS SZABMU (Part-1) where applicable.
• Foreign candidates must provide valid registration with the dental council of their country of origin.

Application procedure & fee

Apply online through the SZABMU website: www.szabmu.edu.pk. Complete the online form, attach the fee deposit slip and scanned copies of required documents. A hard copy of the submitted online application with enclosures must be delivered to the Principal, School of Dentistry, SZABMU, by post/courier before the closing date. Application processing fee: Rs. 2,000. Selection will be made strictly on merit; shortlisted candidates will be called for interview/selection as per SZABMU criteria. Candidates who are government servants must apply through proper channels with NOC.

• Experience certificates (if any)
• HEC/PMDC recognized research publications (if any)
