Manager Finance — Modaraba Management Company (Lahore)

A public-sector Modaraba Management Company is seeking an experienced, dynamic and self-motivated Manager Finance to oversee finance and accounting functions for a running Modaraba in Lahore. Appointment will be on a contractual basis with a market-based salary commensurate with qualifications and experience.

Key skills and knowledge required: Practical knowledge of financial reporting, costing, budgeting, cash flow management and taxation; thorough understanding of applicable accounting standards including IFRS, IFAS and AAOIFI; knowledge of Companies Act 2017 and other applicable laws and regulations; proficiency in ERP systems, financial software, Microsoft Office and advanced spreadsheet-based financial modeling (Excel).

Primary responsibilities: Financial reporting and analysis; preparation of annual and periodic financial statements, budgets, projections, variance analysis and cash flow statements; timely filing of statutory forms/returns; coordination with financial institutions, external auditors, tax consultants, Stock Exchange and other stakeholders; handling income tax and sales tax matters in coordination with tax consultants/authorities; ensuring compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations.
