Issuer: National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (NEPRA). Purpose: Hearing on requests filed by X-WAPDA Distribution Companies (XWDISCOs) regarding quarterly adjustments for the 2nd quarter of Calendar Year 2026 covering capacity charges, transmission charges & market operator fee, variable operation & maintenance (O&M) charges, impact of incremental units and impact of transmission & distribution (T&D) losses on the Fuel Cost Adjustment (FCA).
Legal/Procedural Basis: Pursuant to the notified tariff, XWDISCOs have filed requests for adjustments. In light of Policy Guidelines issued by the Federal Government for the provisional application of uniform quarterly adjustments, the 2nd quarterly adjustment for CY2026 of XWDISCOs is to be determined by NEPRA. Interested/affected parties may submit written and/or oral comments or objections as permitted under the law.
