The Deputy Commissioner / Assistant Director (Tech), Mineral Development Mansehra invites registered Minor Minerals contractors to participate in public auction for the grant of minor-minerals leases in District Mansehra. Interested contractors registered with the Directorate General Mines & Minerals, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa must submit applications and required deposits before the deadline. Auction date: 2026-08-18 at 11:00 AM (alternate date 2026-08-19 at 11:00 AM if required). Submission deadline: 2026-08-14.

Key instructions and requirements:
- Eligibility: Only persons/firms registered with Directorate General Mines & Minerals, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa as Minor Minerals contractors may participate. Blacklisted/defaulted parties are not eligible.
- Application: Purchase auction application form (non-refundable) at Rs. 10,000 plus applicable 2% Sales Tax. Submit completed application at least three working days prior to the auction; last date for submission: 2026-08-14.
- Documents: Registered applicants must submit attested copies of CNIC, income tax registration (NTN), partnership deed/association documents and evidence of paid-up capital where applicable.
- Deposits & payments: Call deposit must be paid to the specified Bank of Khyber accounts prior to auction (account numbers provided in notice). Successful bidder must deposit 1/4th of the total bid as security within three days; failure will forfeit the deposit and the second highest bid may be considered.
- Post-award obligations: Successful bidder to pay applicable excise duty, withholding tax and fees as per KP Mines & Minerals Act, and shall be bound to comply with Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Mines & Minerals Act 2017 and other applicable rules. Transportation of minerals must be via verified transit challans; unauthorized transport will be actionable.
- Site inspection: Interested parties may visit and check advertised areas; sketches are available at the office.
- Auction & contact: Auction will be held at the office of Deputy Commissioner Mansehra on 2026-08-18 at 11:00 AM (backup date 2026-08-19 at 11:00 AM).
