MEPCO Tender: Transportation, Handling & Erection of HT/LT Spun Poles – Layyah Division

Executive Engineer (OP), Multan Electric Power Company Limited (MEPCO), Division Layyah invites sealed tenders from Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) registered contractors for transportation, safe handling, shifting and erection of HT and LT spun poles for MEPCO Division Layyah. Eligible, pre-qualified contractors enlisted with WAPDA/PEPCO/DISCOs/NTDC/MEPCO or approved by the Offices of Chief Engineer (Dist) Engineering WAPDA Lahore / CEO MEPCO may purchase tender documents.

Key instructions and conditions:

- Tenders must be submitted to the Office of Executive Engineer (OP), MEPCO Division Layyah by the stated deadline and will be opened in the presence of contractors or authorized representatives.

- Bid must be accompanied by earnest money in the form of CDR/bank deposit issued by scheduled banks in Pakistan (fresh CDR without limit of validity) as required in tender documents.

- A security/retention of 5% will be withheld and returned to the contractor on satisfactory completion of the works; otherwise security and earnest money are liable to be forfeited.

- Tender documents will not be sold after the specified sale period and conditional or late tenders will not be accepted.

- Contractors must produce satisfactory performance certificate / No Objection Certificate from concerned authorities or proof of enlistment/qualification as per tender requirements at the time of purchase/issuance of tender documents.
