- Second-class Master's degree or equivalent recognized by HEC in a discipline relating to business administration, public administration or social sciences; OR - Bachelor degree in Law from an HEC-recognized university. |
- Preferably five years' experience in relevant field such as business administration, public administration, asset management or law; - Out of five years' relevant experience as prescribed, candidate shall have at least three years' experience pertaining to administration and functioning of a body corporate or a public body. |

Eligibility/Disqualifications: Applicant must be a citizen of Pakistan; must not have been declared a defaulter by a court of law in respect of repayment of a loan; must not have been declared an undischarged insolvent; must not have been convicted by a court of law for an offence involving moral turpitude; must possess unimpeachable reputation, financial integrity, judicious devotion and moral propriety.
Terms & Conditions: The Secretary shall be entitled to pay, allowances, privileges and other terms and conditions as admissible to government servants appointed in BPS-19 on contract. A special ETPB allowance up to one and a half times basic pay may be admissible subject to ToRs/criteria set by the ETP Board. Appointment subject to recommendation of Performance Evaluation and Selection Committee. Initial term three years, extendable by two years on recommendation of committee. On completion of term unless extended for specific reasons or on attaining age of sixty-five years, whichever is earlier, the Secretary shall cease to hold office.
