Associate Professor (BPS-19) Vacancies — Shaikh Zayed Postgraduate Medical Institute, Lahore

Shaikh Zayed Postgraduate Medical Institute, Lahore invites applications for regular posts of Associate Professor (BPS-19) in various departments. Appointments will be made on regular basis in accordance with the rules and regulations of the Institute.

Minimum Qualifications & Eligibility:

- Basic qualification: MBBS or equivalent medical qualification recognized by PM&DC; OR M.Sc. of a recognized university for basic sciences (non-clinical candidates).

- Postgraduate qualification: D.Sc., Ph.D., FCPS, MD, MS, M.Phil or equivalent in the respective subject recognized by PM&DC. (DPH for Public Health institutes where applicable.)

Experience:

- Minimum 5 years teaching experience as Assistant Professor in the respective subject at a postgraduate institute; OR 8 years teaching experience as Assistant Professor in an undergraduate medical institution.

Research:

- Must have produced at least three research papers. If teaching experience is in an undergraduate institution, must have produced at least five research papers.

Other Important Instructions:

- Age relaxation will be granted as per Federal Government rules. Disabled quota, minority quota, women quota and transgender quota will be observed as per Federal Government rules.

- Candidates already in government service should apply through proper channel. Employees of Provincial or Federal Government with a minimum of 2 years of regular contract service are eligible for an upper age relaxation of up to 10 years, subject to a maximum age limit of 55 years.

- Incomplete applications or applications received before or after the due date will not be entertained. Only shortlisted candidates will be called for interview. No TA/DA is admissible if called for test/interview/joining.
