Public Hearing: Core Gas (Pvt) Ltd Application for Licence to Sell Natural Gas

Oil & Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has announced a public hearing on the application of Core Gas (Private) Limited seeking a licence for the sale of natural gas under Rule 4 of the Natural Gas Regulatory Authority (Licensing) Rules, 2002. The applicant submitted the licence application on 2025-06-20 and has indicated its intent to purchase indigenous gas under the Pakistan Petroleum Policy, 2012 and the Framework for Implementation of CCI decision on 35% Sale of Natural Gas to Third Parties. OGRA previously conducted proceedings on 2026-03-09 and, after seeking additional clarifications, has scheduled an additional public hearing.

Participation and objections:

Any person or party likely to be affected by the grant of this licence may submit interventions, comments or objections. Interventions must be accompanied by a processing fee of Rs. 500/- paid through the OGRA online payment system. An affidavit verifying the contents of the communication must be filed. Copies of documents submitted to the Authority should be available for issuance on payment of prescribed charges (as applicable).
