Issuer: High Court of Sindh at Karachi. Suit No. B-20 of 2026. Plaintiff: JS Bank Limited. Defendant(s): Ms. Shams Builders & Developers & Others. Suit instituted under Section 9 of the Financial Institutions (Recovery of Finances) Ordinance, 2001 for recovery of Rs. 199,334,283.32 plus markup/profit, cost of funds, charges and costs for realization of the whole amount.
The defendants are required to appear before the Additional Registrar (OS) in person, or by a pleader instructed and able to answer all material questions, or accompanied by a person able to answer such questions, on 28 August 2026 at 09:30 a.m. All documents intended to be relied upon in defence must be produced on that date and the Written Statement must be filed on or before the said date. In default of appearance the suit will be heard and determined in the defendants' absence.
