Port Qasim Authority Tender No.190 – Annual Repair & Maintenance Contract for Cargo Handling Equipment

Port Qasim Authority (Bin Qasim, Karachi) invites sealed bids for Tender No. 190 for the Annual Running Repair & Maintenance Contract for PQA cargo handling equipment. Eligible contractors must be registered with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) in C-6 category or above (valid to 30 June 2027) with specialization code ME-06, registered with Income Tax & Sales Tax Departments, listed on the Federal Board of Revenue Active Taxpayers List, and registered on the Public Procurement Regulatory Authority e-PADS portal.

Submission and bidding procedure:

- Bids shall follow a single-stage, two-envelope procedure (separate sealed envelopes for Technical and Financial proposals) as per PPRA rules.

- Earnest money must accompany the bid in the specified form. Tender fee (non-refundable) must also be submitted.

- Interested firms may inspect the site and obtain detailed information on any working day during office hours (09:00 AM to 04:00 PM, Monday–Friday).

- Technical proposals will be opened at 12:00 hours on the tender opening date in the office of the Director (M&E) at Port Qasim Authority in the presence of bidders or their authorized representatives. If the office is closed on the date of submission/opening, bids will be opened on the next working day at the same time.

- Bidders must be registered with PEC (C-6), have ME-06 specialization, be registered for taxes, and be on the FBR Active Taxpayer List and e-PADS.
