Preliminary Determination & Provisional Anti-Dumping Duty on BOPP Self-Adhesive Tapes from Vietnam — National Tariff Commission (Pakistan)

Purpose: Preliminary determination and imposition of provisional anti-dumping duties on imports of BOPP (bi-axially oriented polypropylene) self-adhesive tapes in jumbo rolls originating in and/or exported from the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.

Applicants: M/s Universal Coatings Films (Pvt.) Limited and Tri-Pack Film Limited (applicants in the anti-dumping investigation).

Scope of product: BOPP self-adhesive tapes in jumbo rolls used in packaging, sealing, strapping, bundling and carton sealing applications.

Investigation action: The Commission initiated an anti-dumping investigation following receipt of the application and has made a preliminary finding, deciding to levy provisional anti-dumping duties on the investigated imports.
