NDRMF Careers: Chief Internal Auditor & Deputy Manager (Gender & Development) — Apply by 2026-08-02

Leads NDRMF internal audit function; reports functionally to the Audit & Finance Committee/Board and administratively to the CEO. Member of a recognized professional accounting body (e.g., CA, CPA, ACA, CMA) or MBA (Finance) from a reputable institution. Minimum ~15 years professional experience including at least 5 years in auditing and risk management, designing internal control procedures and ensuring compliance/financial reliability in public or private sector projects (experience with SOEs/public projects preferred). Candidate must meet Fit & Proper Criteria under Schedule IV of the SOE Act, 2023 and submit required conflict-of-interest declaration before appointment.

Leads gender mainstreaming across NDRMF operations and projects, implements approved GAD Policy & Strategy, integrates gender safeguards throughout project cycle, and ensures compliance with institutional and international good practices. Master’s degree in Gender Studies, Social Sciences, Development Studies, Humanitarian Affairs or related discipline with relevant experience. Minimum ~4 years professional experience in gender/inclusion with at least 3 years working with multilateral/bilateral development partners; exposure to World Bank ESF and ADB safeguards, designing gender action plans, gender analysis and monitoring safeguards in DRM/climate resilience projects.
