Issuer: Government of Pakistan — Ministry of Communications, National Highway Authority (NHA). Purpose: Public notice of escalation in toll rates on Lahore–Islamabad Motorway (M-2) under the M/s Motorway Operations & Rehabilitations Engineering (Private) Limited concession (BOT).
Background: A concession agreement was signed on 2014-04-23 for overlay and modernization of M-2 on a BOT basis for a period of 20 years. In accordance with the concession schedule, an escalation of 7% in toll rates is implemented from the 13th year of the concession period. The following escalated toll rates are applicable for the period 2026-07-05 to 2027-04-23.
