Issuer: National Bank of Pakistan (NBP). Purpose: Conversion of selected conventional branches into Alteeamad Islamic Banking branches. Effective date for conversion: 07 September 2026. Customers will receive letters; Consent Letters will be dispatched where required. For details on Islamic Banking products, rules (KFS) and terms and conditions visit: http://www.nbp.com.pk/islamic or contact your branch manager.

Important notes: Current accounts remain Qard-based. Savings and deposit accounts will be governed under Mudarabah where applicable. Profit determination and distribution will follow Shariah-compliant procedures and NBP’s published guidelines.
