Punjab Prisons Department Tender: Supply of 70,000 Foam Mattresses

Issuer: Inspector General of Prisons, Punjab (Lahore). Invitation for e-bids for supply of foam mattresses as per specifications and samples.

Key conditions and submission instructions:

- Bids must be submitted online through the Punjab e-procurement system: https://eproc.punjab.gov.pk (e-bids only). Hard copies submitted by hand will not be entertained.

- Deadline for bid submission: 03.08.2026 at 11:00 AM (see portal for exact opening time and details).

- Procedure: Single-stage two-envelope method under Rule 38(2)(a) of the Punjab Procurement Rules 2014 (amended).

- Original Bid Security (in the form of CDR/Pay Order) in favor of Inspector General of Prisons, Punjab must be delivered to the Inspectorate of Prisons, Punjab, Lahore at the address given in the bidding documents and a scanned copy uploaded to the e-procurement portal before bid closing; failure to do so will render the bid non-responsive.

- Performance Guarantee: 5% of the contract value in the shape of CDR/PO in favor of Inspector General of Prisons, Punjab, Lahore, to be deposited as per PPRA rules.

- Bids shall remain valid for 120 days from the bid opening date. The successful bidder must execute the agreement within seven (07) days of award.

- Samples: Bidders must submit the specified number of physical samples (05) as required; laboratory testing/analysis costs, if applicable, must be borne by the supplier.
