Information Technology University (ITU), Lahore is hiring project-based research staff for an HEC-funded National Research Program for Universities project titled "AI-Driven Non-Intrusive Digital Device Cybersecurity Audit and Trust Assessment System." Applications are invited from candidates who meet the specified criteria.

Hands-on exposure to simulation tools (e.g., COMSOL, Lumerical, CST, MATLAB) or hardware-software integration is an advantage. |
| Research Associate (PPS-6) – Photonics / Nanofabrication | At least 16 years of education (MS) in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Physics, or a closely related discipline from an HEC-recognized institution. | Minimum of 2 years' relevant experience in optics/photonics, micro/nanofabrication, computational electromagnetics, or engineering software development preferred. Experience with simulation tools (COMSOL, Lumerical, CST, MATLAB) and hardware development for optical systems (including additive manufacturing/3D printing) is desirable. |
| Research Assistant (AI / ML / Security) | BS/MS in Computer Science, AI & Data Science, Cyber Security, Artificial Intelligence, or Computer Engineering from an HEC-recognized institution. | Hands-on experience with ML workflows, RAG, NLP, transformer models; strong Python skills and experience with HuggingFace / PyTorch / TensorFlow. Knowledge of vector databases and prompt engineering. Strong research and technical writing skills. |
| Research Assistant (Network Security & AI) | BS/MS in Computer Science, Cyber Security, Artificial Intelligence, or Computer Engineering from an HEC-recognized institution. | Experience in network security, traffic analysis, intrusion detection and prevention; hands-on with Python, Scapy, Wireshark and ML techniques. Familiarity with machine learning for network security and applied detection systems. Strong research and technical writing skills. |
