UHS Lahore Public Notice: Migration for BSN Generic (4-Year) Students in Punjab Nursing Colleges

Issuer: University of Health Sciences (UHS), Lahore. This public notice invites online applications for migration of BSN Generic (4-year) degree students between public sector nursing colleges of Punjab under the Government of Punjab Migration Policy notified on 13 May 2026.

Purpose: To accept and process migration requests from eligible BSN students on merit-cum-preference basis for specified years/semesters only. Applications must be submitted exclusively via the UHS Migration Portal (www.uhs.edu.pk). Manual or hard-copy submissions will not be entertained.

Note: Candidates who have failed and are awaiting supplementary examination results are not eligible.

Key Conditions:

• Migration allowed strictly on merit-cum-preference.
• Migration is not permissible in the First Year (1st & 2nd Semesters) or the Final Year.
• Migration between Morning and Evening sessions, and between Annual and Semester schemes, is not permitted; the session and scheme of the candidate will remain unchanged.
• Migration is allowed only once during the entire 4-year program.
• Migration within the same city and mutual migration between students are not permitted.

Application Procedure and Documents:

• Apply online only via the UHS Migration Portal: www.uhs.edu.pk. Do not submit hard copies.
• Complete the prescribed online form and indicate order of preference for institutions/years; submissions are final and non-revisable.
• Processing fee: non-refundable Rs. 500 (generate & deposit via prescribed Bank of Punjab challan or online banking). Upload payment proof online.
• Upload scanned copies (picture format, max ~1MB each) of required documents, including: CNIC/Form-B, Matriculation certificate/result card, FSc (Pre-Medical) certificate/result card, detailed mark certificates (DMCs) of all professional examinations passed, college identity card (both sides), and a certificate from the college principal confirming clearance of dues, satisfactory attendance, and absence of pending disciplinary proceedings.

Important: Vacancies by public sector nursing college will be published on the UHS website. Merit will be determined on marks obtained in FSc (Pre-Medical); subsequent improvements will not be considered. Tie-breaking rules will follow UHS policy. Final orders of migration will be issued by the Specialized Healthcare & Medical Education Department, Government of the Punjab.
