University of Karachi Tender: Supply of Local Paper and 3-Year SLA for Communication Network

Issuer: University of Karachi (Purchase Officer)

Purpose: Invitation to tender for (a) procurement of local paper for B.C.C. & T. Press and (b) Service Level Agreement (SLA) and comprehensive maintenance & support of the main communication network, University of Karachi.

Eligibility: Firms of repute registered with Sales Tax, SRB and NTN Authorities.

Bid security: Each bid must be accompanied by bid security equal to 2% of the total contract value in the shape of a pay order in favour of University of Karachi; to be deposited in the Purchase Office before opening of bids.

Tender fee: Rs. 3,000 (non-refundable). Deposit to United Bank Limited, Account No. 1140-01004234 titled "University of Karachi." The original deposit slip/receipt must be submitted along with the bid.

Submission method: Bids must be prepared per bidding document instructions and submitted electronically through the Sindh e-Procurement System (ePADS) at the Sindh eProcurement portal.

Deadline and opening: Bids to be submitted on or before 2006-07-08 at 11:30 a.m.; bids will be opened the same day at 12:00 noon. Late bids will not be accepted.

Taxes & conditions: Prices must be inclusive of all government taxes/charges as levied by the Sindh Government. If the bid opening date falls on a public/local holiday, the next working day will be considered the deadline. The University reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids in accordance with SPPRA Rules 2010.
