Director General Food / Cane Commissioner, Government of the Punjab invites electronic Technical and Financial bids from eligible and experienced carriage contractors for the transportation of imported wheat for Scheme Year 2026-27. Transportation will be from designated ports (e.g. Qasim/Karachi/Gwarder) to specified receiving/dispatching points of the Department. Rates shall be quoted separately from each port to each recipient centre per metric ton in PKR, inclusive of applicable taxes. The prescribed shifting/transportation period is 90 days unless otherwise stated in the bidding documents.

Key obligations and notes:
- Manual/hard-copy bids will not be accepted; bids submitted after prescribed closing time will be rejected.
- The contractor is responsible for loading, transportation, delivery/receipt of wheat at designated receiving centres, and for loading/unloading arrangements. Vehicles must be roadworthy and properly equipped.
- Any loss, damage or shortage during loading, transportation or unloading is the contractor's responsibility. All taxes, duties, tolls and other government charges are payable by the contractor where applicable.
- The Procuring Agency reserves the right to increase or decrease the quantity of wheat to be transported and to alter transportation requirements, routes or dispatch schedules as per operational needs and procurement rules.
