Port Qasim Authority (PQA) invites prequalification applications from interested national and international entities, either as a single entity or a consortium, for the establishment, on a Build-Operate-Transfer (BOT) basis, of a Multipurpose Cargo Terminal at Port Qasim, Karachi.
The project seeks a private party to design, finance, build, operate, maintain and transfer the Multipurpose Cargo Terminal to PQA. The scope includes feasibility and demand forecasting, design and construction of terminal infrastructure (including reclamation, dredging, quay wall structures and ancillary facilities), procurement and installation of equipment and modern control systems, and all works for cargo handling, storage and evacuation required for the terminal.
