| Key Qualifications & Experience |
Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Geoinformatics, GIS, Geomatics, Information Technology, or a closely related discipline (PhD in a relevant field carries additional weight). Minimum 15 years of professional track record in geospatial information systems, Spatial Data Infrastructure (SDI), enterprise web GIS platforms, or large-scale digital transformation projects. Demonstrated experience in client-side technical supervision, site/technical supervision, software architecture evaluation, database modeling, and quality assurance for enterprise IT/GIS deployments. Strong technical understanding of OGC spatial web services (WMS, WFS, WMTS, CSW), ISO metadata standards (ISO 19115/19139), RESTful APIs, and spatial databases. Prior experience working with public sector organisations and/or multilateral donor-funded projects (e.g., World Bank, Asian Development Bank) is preferred. |
