Open Hearing on Competition Issues in the Real Estate Sector — Competition Commission of Pakistan

Issuer: Competition Commission of Pakistan (CCP). The CCP is holding an open hearing to receive complaints, evidence and stakeholder views concerning competition-related problems in the real estate sector under the Competition Act, 2010. The hearing invites affected persons, industry participants, consumer representatives and other stakeholders to present information and submissions regarding anti-competitive practices, market conduct, and related concerns in the real estate market.

Participation is open to interested parties. Written submissions and supporting documents can be sent in advance or presented at the hearing. For registration, queries or to submit written evidence contact the CCP advocacy/registration desk (details below). The CCP will consider submitted evidence in accordance with the Competition Act and seek to address competition issues affecting consumers and markets in the sector.

Stakeholders should register or contact the CCP in advance if they intend to present oral or written submissions. The Commission will consider all timely evidence and may follow up as required under the Competition Act, 2010.
