Pakistan Institute of Fashion and Design (PIFD), Lahore invites applications for the position of Vice Chancellor. The Search Committee appointed by the Senate seeks accomplished and motivated academic leaders and administrators with the vision and experience to further develop and strengthen PIFD’s teaching, research and industry engagement in fashion and design education.

| Key responsibilities | Provide strategic and academic leadership; develop and improve management of the Institute; strengthen links between education, industry and research; promote innovation, creativity and practical application in fashion and design education. |
| Essential qualifications & experience | Applicants preferably holding a PhD and a first professional degree in Visual Arts and Design or related disciplines. Candidates will be assessed on academic and leadership achievements, evidence of meaningful academic, administrative and professional competence in art and design, strategic planning, financial management, and resource development. Experience in higher education leadership, research and development, and community engagement is a major asset. |
| Terms of appointment | Appointed by the Chancellor for a period of five (05) years. |
| Age limit | Maximum 65 years on the last date fixed for submission of applications. |
| Application requirements | Submit a letter of intent, detailed CV, names and contact details of three referees, and a statement outlining vision for the Institute (the advertisement requests a statement of vision in approximately 1000 words). |
