The Superintendent of Central Jail Mardan has issued a final notice to a jail warder for unauthorized absence. The employee was granted leave without pay from 2025-10-01 to 2026-01-28 with a further four-month extension ending 2026-05-28, but was reported absent from duty on 2026-06-22.
A registered letter (posting number 3051) dated 2026-06-22 instructed the employee to report to Central Jail Mardan within fifteen days and provide a satisfactory reason for the absence. Failure to comply will result in unilateral legal action, which may include dismissal from service.
