Pakistan Railways Lahore Division — Open Auction of Parking Stands (1+1 years)

Pakistan Railways, Lahore Division invites public open auctions for multiple parking stands across Lahore Division for a tenure of 1+1 years. Auctions will be conducted publicly and bids will start from the bench mark specified against each parking stand. Application forms will be available on the date of the auction for each parking stand at the station mentioned.

How to apply and key auction conditions

• Application forms will be issued on the date of auction mentioned against each parking stand.

• Participants must submit separate CDRs/Pay Orders for earnest money and participation fee in favour of The Financial Advisor & Chief Accounts Officer (Revenue), Pakistan Railways, Lahore (FA&CAO/Rev: PR/LHR). Write "on account of the person participating in the auction" on each CDR/Pay Order.

• If a bidder wishes to participate for more than one parking stand, separate CDR/Pay Orders must be deposited for each stand.

• If bidding reaches double the bench mark during the auction, bidders must deposit an additional CDR at the spot equal to the participation fee specified against that stand; otherwise their deposited fees will be forfeited and a fresh auction will be started at the original bench mark.

• The successful bidder must deposit 30% of the offered bid within 10 days of approval. The remaining 70% is payable in 10 equal monthly instalments, payable by the 5th of each month to the concerned Station Master.

• The successful bidder will deposit 5% withholding tax of the total bid money in advance.

• All local, municipal, provincial and federal taxes/charges are payable by the lessee/licensee.

• Participation fee/CDR of unsuccessful bidders will be refunded on the spot after deduction of 3% processing charges.

• For a successful bidder the participation fee will be adjusted against the 30% advance. Successful bidder must also deposit a security equal to one month’s rent in the form of Pay Order/CDR, refundable on completion of tenure after clearance of dues.
