EOI: Establishment of 07 FMD-Free Livestock Compartments — Livestock & Dairy Development Department, Punjab

• Gated boundary wall with biosecurity measures at the entrance.
• Separate quarantine unit for new animals located at a minimum distance (document states 500 metres) from the main sheds.
• Minimum herd size of 300 large animals (cattle/buffalo).
• Adequate animal housing facilities, including properly ventilated sheds.

Applications not meeting these knock-down criteria will be rejected without further processing.

• Application submitted against a valid CNIC.
• Certified copies of land ownership or lease records.
• Documented proof of farm infrastructure, including quarantine unit, boundary wall and declaration of herd size.
• Completed EOI documents and application form (downloadable from the departmental website or obtainable from the Director General's office).
• Written consent on judicial paper to maintain buffer zone and continue FMD control measures for up to five years following compartment notification.
• Business plan and other required documents as per the EOI instructions (to be submitted in hard copy and/or email as specified).

• Applicants must implement and maintain requisite interventions on their farms as required by the programme.
• Department reserves the right to reject or cancel applications without assigning reason.
• Final compartment notification will follow a departmental survey and external evaluation in accordance with the Punjab Animal Health Act, 2019.
