Auction: Lease Rights for Cold Storage Facility at Islamabad International Airport (Plot E-102)

Pakistan Airports Authority (PAA) invites sealed bids in an auction for lease rights to establish and operate a cold storage facility at Islamabad International Airport. The lease is for 30 years, extendable for a further 20 years by mutual consent as per PAA Land Lease Policy 2017. Interested parties must attend the auction with required documents and payments.

Auction date & venue: 2026-07-30 at 11:00 hours (1100 Hrs) — Red Building, Conference Room, Block-III, IIAP Islamabad.

Participation requirements & payment: Each auction participant shall bring two (02) copies of CNIC and submit them along with a non-refundable auction participation fee of PKR 10,000 and the earnest money (pay order) in favor of Pakistan Airports Authority to the Auction Committee at the venue before the start of the auction proceedings.

Eligibility & conditions: Only duly registered and licensed companies with relevant approvals for cold storage or temperature-controlled warehousing operations are eligible. The facility shall be company-owned and operated by the successful bidder at its own cost and responsibility. The cold storage site will be leased out on an "as is, where it is" basis. Defaulters of PAA and blacklisted companies are not eligible to participate. Earnest money of unsuccessful bidders will be refunded within 15 days after confirmation of the bid.

Approval & other terms: The highest bid shall be placed before the PAA Executive Committee for approval; the Committee may accept or reject it. If rejected, leasehold rights shall be re-auctioned or handled as decided by PAA.
