PPMC Invitation: Expression of Interest for Consultant Pool – Power Planning & Monitoring

Issuer: Power Planning & Monitoring Company (PPMC). Purpose: Expression of Interest (EOI) to form a panel/consultant pool of national and international consultants for technical and policy support across power sector planning, development and execution of policies, strategic plans, performance monitoring, and specialized assignments on an as-needed basis.

Key advisory and consultancy areas include (selection of core domains):

• Generation, Capacity Planning, Least Cost Planning, Fuels and IPP-related advisory
• Transmission & Distribution planning, system studies, grid code, and network modeling
• Distribution Operations, Standards & Material Inspection, DISCO performance and reliability
• Renewable Energy Integration, DSM, energy efficiency and smart grid technologies
• Policy, regulatory affairs, market reforms, tariff and legal/regulatory frameworks
• Economics, finance, PPPs, project appraisal, risk management and investment frameworks
• Transmission & Distribution infrastructure planning, expansion and resilience studies

Engagement model: Short-term, assignment-based consultancy on an as-needed basis to support organizational activities including studies, evaluations, advisory roles and implementation support. Selected consultants will provide technical inputs, develop policies, prepare technical reports, and support capacity building and project/program implementation.

Eligibility & experience: Candidates must have relevant qualifications and proven experience in the respective field. Experience categories are defined as follows:
