MEPCO Multan Tender: Transportation, Handling & Erection of HT/LT Spun Poles (Closing 2026-07-10)

Purpose: Sealed tenders are invited from PEC-registered contractors (classes A, B, C & D with relevant field specialization) for transportation, safe handling, shifting and erection of MEPCO-approved HT/LT spun poles from the approved pole plant to various sites.

Key conditions and eligibility:

• Contractors must be registered with Pakistan Engineering Council for the year 2025-26 with relevant field specialization (specified in the notice).
• An earnest money (bid security) of 3% of the tender amount is required in the form of a call deposit issued by scheduled banks in Pakistan or a foreign bank counter-guarantee acceptable to MEPCO.
• Performance security of 5% of the total bid value will be required within 15 days of issuance of the letter of acceptance; failure to provide it may result in cancellation and forfeiture.
• Tender fee: Rs. 2,000 (non-refundable) – obtain tender documents from the O/O Executive Engineer MEPCO (OP) Cantt Division Multan on payment during office hours. Tender documents will not be issued on the date of opening.
• Bidders must demonstrate cash or cash equivalents equal to at least 40% of the contract value and provide bank statements for the last one year.
• Income tax returns for at least 2 years and contractor must be registered with PRA (where applicable).
• Tenders will be received in the office of the Executive Engineer (OP) MEPCO Cantt Division Multan on 2026-07-10 up to 02:30 PM and will be opened on the same date after 30 minutes of closing time (per PPRA rules). Conditional tenders will not be accepted.

All proceedings will be conducted according to PPRA rules. MEPCO reserves the right to accept/reject/cancel any or all bids as per terms mentioned in the tender documents.
