MEPCO Chief Supply Chain Management Officer – Career Opportunity (Multan)

Multan Electric Power Company Limited (MEPCO) invites applications for the position of Chief Supply Chain Management Officer to lead and optimize MEPCO's procurement, inventory, logistics and supply chain functions.

Key responsibilities include developing MEPCO's supply chain strategy aligned with organizational vision and board directives; managing procurement teams and supplier performance; leading procurement of equipment, supplies and services; overseeing inventory control, logistics and cost-effective distribution; ensuring effective ERP utilization for supply chain execution; coordinating with departments to maximize procurement effectiveness; and periodically updating the supply chain framework to align with internal requirements and external dynamics.

Qualification & experience

• Minimum 16-year degree (Master's preferred) in Supply Chain or related field from an HEC-recognized local/foreign university.
• Certifications or courses in supply chain management from reputable national/international institutions are a strong plus.
• A minimum of 10 years of relevant professional experience, including at least 2 years in a senior leadership role (Head of Department or equivalent) in a large-scale public sector, national, multinational or corporate organization. Emphasis on overall supply chain and procurement strategic responsibility rather than job title alone.

Contract nature: The position is purely contractual, non-transferable, non-permanent, and subject to annual performance appraisal by the MEPCO Board of Directors.
