Government of Pakistan – Ministry of Science & Technology, Pakistan Council of Scientific & Industrial Research (PCSIR), PCSIR Labs Complex Ferozepur Road, Lahore invites applications from Pakistani nationals for three contract positions for the PSDP project titled “Cultivation & Processing of Medicinal & Industrial Cannabis on Experimental Fields and Establishment of Testing and Product Development Facilities (PCSIR & Arid Agriculture University)”. Appointments are on a lump-sum pay basis at PCSIR Labs Complex, Ferozepur Road, Lahore.

| Technician (Agriculture) | BSc/BS Agriculture with 2–3 years experience in agricultural plant breeding. | Support field plant processes, cultivation, harvesting and processing of experimental crops; assist in field operations and safe handling of chemicals/raw materials. | 01 |
| Technician (Textile/Processing) | BSc/BS Textile Engineering with 2–3 years experience in textile machinery, fibre processing, spinning and industrial production systems. Preference to candidates with practical experience in hemp fibre extraction and spinning. | Operate and assist in fibre extraction and processing, development/design of fibre extraction machinery, pilot-scale processing and production tasks. | 01 |
Application & Terms: Selection purely on merit. Appointments on contract basis initially for 12 months, extendable up to another year subject to satisfactory performance and project needs. These are purely contractual posts with no entitlement to regularization. Government servants should apply through proper channel. Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted for test/interview. No TA/DA will be provided.
