Power Planning & Monitoring Company (PPMC) is recruiting for two planning positions to support Power Sector strategic planning, policy development and performance monitoring. Shortlisted candidates will be offered market-based remuneration, with a 3-month probation period. Office: PPMC, Evacuee Trust Complex, Agha Khan Road, F-5/1, Islamabad.

Team Lead (Planning) 1 Bachelor's / Master's in Mechanical, Electrical Power, Mechatronics, Electronics, Energy Engineering or Engineering Sciences from an HEC-recognized institute Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in a reputable national / multinational organization
  • Strategic planning of the power sector and performance evaluation
  • Sensitivity analysis, scenario development and decision support for policymakers
  • Tariff design & modelling; design of incentive schemes
  • Generation planning and financial forecasting
  • Cross-sectoral & global consultations on strategic contours
  • Assistance in development of strategic plans

Specialist (Planning) 1 Bachelor's / Master's in Mechanical, Electrical Power, Electrical/Computer, Mechatronics, Electronics or Energy Engineering from an HEC-recognized institute Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in a reputable national / multinational organization
  • Tariff design & modelling; sensitivity analyses and scenario development
  • Design of incentive schemes; long-term resource assessments based on system planning
  • Policy support, development of incentive schemes and system planning tools
  • Hands-on experience in relevant tools will be preferred

Additional preferences: certifications in the relevant field and experience with simulation/modeling tools. Remuneration: market-based and competitive, commensurate with skills and experience. No age relaxation beyond stated limits.
