Auction: Tenancy Rights of Model Cabins — Cantt Board Sargodha (Faisalabad Road)

Cantt Board Sargodha (Military Lands & Cantonments Department) invites the general public and interested parties to an auction for tenancy rights of model cabins located at 49 Tail, Faisalabad Road, Sargodha. The auction will be held on 2025-06-29 at 14:00 hours in the office of Cantt Board Sargodha. In case of unavoidable failure the auction will be held on 2025-06-30 at 14:00 hours.

Key auction conditions & requirements:

- Bids will start from the reserve rent.

- Participants must not have been blacklisted by any public or private organization in the past or recently; police verification of character must be submitted.

- Initial tenancy period: 3 years. Renewal may be considered after market survey/analysis; renewal will not exceed two tenures and will be subject to fresh terms and feasibility/market study.

- Refundable security deposit: Rs. 20,000 (in shape of call deposit / pay order issued by a scheduled bank) in favor of Cantonment Executive Officer, Cantt Board Sargodha. This deposit must be submitted to the office before participating in auction proceedings.

- Authorized representatives of AOPs/Firms/Companies may participate if properly authorized.

- Successful bidder must deposit advance rent equal to one month’s rent and additional security (as specified) at the fall of the hammer; failure to deposit required amounts will result in forfeiture of the submitted deposit/CDR.

- Successful bidder will be responsible for income tax and all other charges/dues and prevailing departmental fees.

- Cantt Board reserves the right to accept/reject/cancel any bid as per PPRA rules.

- Annual rent increase will be at least 10%. For extensions (second/third term) rent will be increased by at least 25% in the first year of extension and at least 10% per year thereafter as applicable.

- Tenancy rights are transferable subject to payment of a transfer fee of PKR 5,000 and execution of a new tenancy agreement for the residual period.

- Model cabins shall only be used for sale of fruits and vegetables. Tenants must maintain cabins and hand over structures in good condition on expiry of tenancy.

- The successful bidder shall arrange at their own cost for electricity, water, sanitation and allied services. The tenant shall pay all applicable taxes, fees and utility bills.
