Eligibility:
- M.Phil: Four years of university education (120 credit hours) after HSSC/Grade-12 (16 years). Minimum second division or minimum 50% marks for annual system, or CGPA 2.50/4.00 for semester system from an HEC-recognized university in related field. GRE/HAT (General) to be conducted by UVAS; qualifying score 60%.
- Ph.D.: Candidates must hold M.Sc (Hons) / M.Phil or equivalent in the relevant field with minimum First Division (60%) from an HEC-recognized university. Candidates must also meet departmental eligibility criteria available at www.uvas.edu.pk. GRE/HAT (General) to be conducted by UVAS; qualifying score 60%.
Application procedure and fees:
- Apply online and download prospectus from www.uvas.edu.pk. Submit the printed application with attested copies of required documents and original paid challan as per prospectus.
- Admission processing fee: Rs. 2,500. Additional processing fee Rs. 500 per discipline (non-refundable) — payable as instructed in the prospectus.
- Hard-copy applications and required documents must be submitted to Directorate of Advanced Studies, UVAS, Outfall Road, Lahore via postal/courier services only (details and checklist in the prospectus).
