Pakistan Council of Scientific & Industrial Research (PCSIR), Ministry of Science & Technology, invites applications from Pakistani nationals for contract positions on the PSDP project titled "Cultivation & Processing of Medicinal & Industrial Cannabis on Experimental Fields and Establishment of Testing and Product Development Facilities (PCSIR & Arid Agriculture University)". Appointments are on a lump-sum pay basis at PCSIR Labs Complex, Ferozepur Road, Lahore.
Application requirements and conditions:
Submit CV, attested copies of CNIC, domicile certificate, education degrees/certificates and one recent passport-size photograph. Government servants should apply through proper channel. Only shortlisted candidates will be called for test/interview. TA/DA will not be paid. Appointments are purely contract (initial 12 months, extendable by one year on satisfactory performance). Candidates must write the post title on the top-right corner of the envelope. Selection is on merit; the selection committee may withhold appointments if no suitable candidate is found.

| Technician (Textile Engineering) | BSc/BS Textile Engineering with preferably 2–3 years' experience in textile machinery, fiber processing, spinning and industrial production systems. Preference for experience in extraction of hemp fiber and spinning into string and in design/development of fiber extraction machinery. | 1 |
