Issuer: Pakistan Agricultural Research Council (PARC), Ministry of National Food Security & Research, Government of Pakistan. PARC invites applications for two senior scientific positions (Member, MP-II) to lead research programs in Natural Resources and Animal Sciences.

Minimum ~20 years proven experience in R&D organizations/research or higher-education institutions (public or private), including management of multidisciplinary teams. At least 15 research publications in HEC-recognized refereed journals/books. Demonstrated leadership in strategic planning, implementation and management of multidisciplinary agricultural research programs; ability to mobilize and utilize financial and human resources; strong communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills; must not hold dual nationality. |

Other important conditions: Appointment is initially for three years, further extendable up to a maximum period of two years on an annual basis subject to satisfactory performance. Maximum age limit: 62 years (as per Management Position Scales Policy-2020). Functions/job descriptions are available on PARC website (www.parc.gov.pk). If a civil servant/government employee is selected, she/he must resign from government service or seek early retirement/cessation of service before joining. Nationality: Pakistani.
