Lahore Municipal Corporation Monsoon 2026 Notice to Owners and Occupants of Dilapidated/Dangerous Buildings

Issuer: Lahore Municipal Corporation (بلدیہ عظمیٰ لاہور).

Purpose: Public safety warning issued ahead of Monsoon 2026 addressed to owners, occupants and tenants of dilapidated, unsafe or structurally dangerous buildings.

Action required: Owners and residents are directed to immediately inspect, repair and make safe any unsafe portions of their buildings or vacate premises that present imminent danger. Property owners/occupants must take necessary measures to remove hazards and secure structures to prevent loss of life or property during the monsoon season.

Consequences: The notice states that in case of non-compliance, the owners/occupants/tenants will be held fully responsible for any untoward incidents or damage. The Lahore Municipal Corporation reserves the right to take further necessary action for public safety.

How to comply: Take prompt steps to repair, reinforce or vacate unsafe structures and follow any directions from municipal inspection teams.
