Government of Pakistan — Ministry of Science & Technology (Pakistan Halal Authority) invites applications for the post of Director General, Pakistan Halal Authority (PHA), Islamabad.

| PhD; MS / MPhil; M.Sc / BE / BS (Hons.) with Grade 'B' in Applied Sciences, Natural Sciences, Administrative Sciences or other relevant discipline from an HEC-recognized university. | For PhD: minimum 18 years. For MS/MPhil: minimum 20 years. For M.Sc/BE/BS (Hons.): minimum 22 years' relevant experience in public/private organizations (preferably public sector). Candidate must be Muslim. Knowledge/experience of Halal systems, WTO, TBT, OIC/SMIC preferred. Basic knowledge of Islamic Shariah in respect of Halal required. Master in Public Health with MBBS is preferred. Competency in computer applications (MS Office). |
Age Limit: Maximum 55 years on the closing date of the advertisement. Nationality: Pakistani. Domicile: Merit.
Application Instructions: Submit applications on the prescribed proforma addressed to Section Officer (Org‑I), Ministry of Science and Technology, complete in all respects along with CV/bio-data, 2 recent passport-size photographs and attested copies of CNIC. Applications should reach the office of the undersigned within 15 days of publication of the advertisement. No TA/DA will be admissible. Serving government officers may apply through proper channel. Only shortlisted candidates will be called for interview.
