National Bank of Pakistan (NBP) invites applications for a senior management position based in Karachi within the Inclusive Development Group. This role will support NBP's financial inclusion, SME, agriculture and sustainable finance objectives and report to the Group Chief Inclusive Development Group (SEVP).

| Minimum Education | Bachelor's degree from an HEC-recognized local or international university in Business Administration / Finance / Economics / Management or related discipline. Master's degree and/or certifications in Development Finance, Inclusive Finance, Sustainable Finance, SME or Agricultural Finance preferred. |
| Experience | Minimum 18 years' work experience, with at least 12 years in banking/financial sector. Specific senior experience expected (examples shown in advert include Head of SME, Agri or Commercial business; Head of Retail Banking; demonstrated leadership in managing diversified banking portfolios including SME, agriculture, commercial lending and development-focused banking). |
| Key Skills & Competencies | Leadership and people management; strategic planning and policy formulation; stakeholder engagement; product development for inclusive finance, SME and agri; ESG and green finance knowledge; strong communication and negotiation; risk and compliance awareness; ability to deliver results in regulated environment. |
| Main Duties / Responsibilities | Lead implementation of Government and Bank initiatives for SME, agriculture and sustainable finance; develop and implement inclusive finance programs, products and partnerships; support NBP’s Green Banking, ESG and sustainable finance strategy; oversee ESG integration and climate risk considerations; manage teams, regulatory relationships and program delivery; promote branchless/digital financial inclusion solutions. |
| Employment Terms | Senior management appointment on contractual basis (advert indicates three-year contract with possible renewal at Management discretion). Competitive compensation commensurate with qualification and experience. |
