Free Proof of Life Certificate for Pensioners via NADRA Pak ID Mobile App

Issuer: Ministry of Information & Broadcasting, Government of Pakistan (campaign presented by the Prime Minister and Uraan Pakistan) in collaboration with NADRA, Controller General of Accounts and Military Accountant General.

Purpose: Free issuance of the Proof of Life Certificate to pensioners to ensure uninterrupted pension payments without the need to visit the bank.

Who is eligible: Pensioners covered by Federal and Provincial Accountants General, including Gilgit‑Baltistan and AJK under CGA, and pensioners of the three armed forces under MAG. Pensioners residing abroad can also submit their Proof of Life via the Pak ID mobile app instead of visiting an embassy.

How to apply via Pak ID mobile app:

1. Download and install the Pak ID app and create an account.

2. Log in and navigate to the 'Proof of Life' section.

3. If an elderly pensioner cannot use the app, a family member (spouse, son, daughter, parents, sister or brother) may perform the task on their behalf.

4. Complete the required photo/fingerprint verification within the app.

5. Obtain the Proof of Life Certificate, which will be automatically transferred to the concerned Pension Controller to ensure continued pension disbursement.
