Issuer: Higher Education Commission (HEC), Pakistan. This corrigendum amends the original HEC National Research Programme for Universities (NRPU) call for research proposals for 2026–27.

| Application fee | The requirement for payment of the application fee of Rs. 5,000 through the 1-LINK/1-Bill service using mobile or internet banking is hereby exempted. Accordingly, no application fee shall be charged from applicants submitting research proposals under the current NRPU call. |
| Delayed/Unsettled NRPU cases | The prior condition that universities having more than five (05) delayed/unsettled NRPU cases are not eligible to apply is relaxed/exempted. All universities shall be eligible to submit research proposals under the current NRPU call, subject to fulfillment of other eligibility criteria and requirements in the original advertisement. |
| Other terms | All other terms, conditions, eligibility criteria, and requirements of the original NRPU advertisement remain unchanged. This corrigendum shall be read as an integral part of the original NRPU advertisement. |
